Let's try to look at our life trough eyes of European visitor. High prices for foreigners, more over there are many people willing to clean pockets of "rich" tourists. Hotels, hostels, apartments become more expensive 10 times (without improving conditions and services).
Taxi? I've heard they'd obliged drivers to install counters in all cars. Will it help? Foxy driver can make a tour for you around Kyiv and you'll pay for 100 km instead of 30 km for example.
I am sure Ukrainians are very hospitable nation, but it doesn't apply services area. Transport, shops and supermarkets, restaurants and cafes services are far from European level. Employees have to learn languages and different subjects needed for relations with customers. Because at the time boorishness, rudeness and disrespect are normal in our society.
But first of all people have to change their outlook and attitude! Otherwise Ukraine will never be the part of Europe and civilized world.
